Christine's Tea Room

Author Christine Townsend welcomes you to a resting place. Let the worries of your day evaporate like the steam rising from your teacup. We'll chat about things that interest us. "Come along inside . . . We'll see if tea and buns make the world a better place."--The Wind in the Willow

February is the Month of Love

We celebrate love 365 days a year. We write for readers who want to read tales about the love between men and women who are positive influences in their communities.

Woven throughout our romance novels is the importance of African-American culture and community. What better time to recognize the value of our ethnic heritage than during this month when we celebrate love?

Since beginning our writing career, we have enjoyed several achievements. The first was Sweet Desire receiving an award for Best First Multicultural Novel by the reviewers for Romantic Times. The other nominees were Back to Life by Wendy Coakley-Thompson, A Happy Life by Charlotte Harris and With Every Breath by Maureen Smith.

Secondly we consider the wonderful reviews that our readers have given our books a major achievement. To write what you like reading has been our prime goal. Thank you for letting us know.

In all our books we write about ordinary men who make brave choices in extraordinary circumstances. These are the men that we meet in everyday life—those who are often overlooked.
